RAOSHI BANQUETING HALL WEDDING: TINA + EURENZAH

I have known Tina for a long time, in fact, I can't remember not knowing Tina, I can't really remember when we first met. Her Mum and my Mum used to play netball together and we both used to watch the netball games so she is someone who I have always known. When she made enquiries for me to photograph her wedding, I felt honoured that she asked but also slightly nervous because I knew I would be up their photographing amongst a lot of people I knew. It's a weird thing, you would think you would be more comfortable being watched by familiar faces but it's somehow more nerve-wracking. I knew my Mum would be there and a lot of my Mum's friends and so I was more self-aware than usual. That being said, everything went well and I was happy that it was me that got to photograph Tina and Eurenzah's day. It's always nice to be recognised by the people you know when working on your own business because sometimes it feels like you get more support from strangers on the internet. So I am thankful to Tina and Eurenzah for trusting me to document their day. Here are a few highlights...Tina's diamantรฉ Cavalli heels...Tina got ready at home, along with her bridesmaids. When she mentioned that beforehand, I was imagine the house to be chaos as she quite a lot of bridesmaids but it wasn't thanks to the marquee she had in their back garden. The marquee was to be where Tina put on her dress, tiara and veil and it was the perfect space for it as there were was room for me to more around and photograph naturally as morning unfolded.Tina actually had two pairs of wedding shoes...Tina and Eurenzah were married in a Catholic church in Chorlton, Manchester. There were smiles all around in the church, the happy energy was infectious. This is Tina's chief bridesmaid, Keisha. It was great seeing Tina laughing, relaxed, enjoying her day.Tina's youngest daughter, peeping to see what her uncle is doing as he was signing the register.Instead of confetti, Tina gave guests bubbles to blow as she walked down the aisle. Tina and Eurenzah's children walked in front, leading the way with bubble guns. The bride and groom portraits took place on the church grounds before we headed to the reception hall which was a few miles away. The top table and dance floor with sparkling LED lights.Tina loves children, no doubt about it - she has four of her own and did not want to shy away from having children at her wedding. If I remember rightly, there were almost 30! She kept them well entertained with this secret weapon! A bouncy castle. She also had a ballonist shaping all sorts of toys out of the balloons for the children. There was also a characturist drawing portraits for the children and guests - genius ideas!I love all the details that Tina and Eurenzah had at their wedding. Like these little sweets that they had on the table with their faces and names printed on them.Tina and Eurenzah's first dance.. they also got their four children involved as well towards the end. It was a ย beautiful moment.Balloon drop! :-)Photography by Tanya Weekes | Assistant photographer: Safrana | Church: St. John's Church, Chorlton | Reception: Raoshi Banqueting SuiteFor more weddings, check out these posts:
