Manchester Town Hall Wedding: Victoria + Martin

It was Victoria's sister, Kelechi that referred Victoria to me. Kelechi and I used to go to the same high school and although we hadn't seen each other since then, we remain in touch through Facebook and Pinterest. It was great to capture Victoria and Martin's first hours together as husband and wife and also see Kelechi, it was like a mini high school reunion :-) The bride and groom were married at Manchester Registry Office and had their reception meal with a close circle of friends and family at Greek restaurant, Dimitri's. Manchester registry office is located to the side of Albert Square, which houses Manchester Town Hall and also adjacent, Manchester Central Library which have great architecture, so we walked across and started the photography from there as it made for a nice setting. Afterwards the couple walked across to the restaurant which was 5 minutes away, which allowed me to capture relaxed, natural pictures as they walked together hand-in-hand. The bride wore Ted Baker stilettos.I love that Victoria and Martin had a colour theme that extended to their guests, it made for an overall more co-ordinated look.Victoria and Martin were happy to take the five minute stroll to the reception venue which allowed me to take natural relaxed shots along the way.Location: Manchester Town HallReception: Dimitri'sPhotography: Tanya Weekes
