TRAVELS: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS 2018
I’ve been to the Netherlands, more specifically, Amsterdam quite a few times. Unfortunately each time is short and fleeting and this time was just the same. The reason for this short trip, was a dancing festival – the 4th Edition of the Amsterdam Kizomba Festival. The festival is a weekend of kizomba, salsa and bachata dance classes and parties. I’ve been to quite a few dance festivals abroad and they’re always quite intense, but I always try and take a bit of time to explore wherever the festival takes place. Previous kizomba festivals have seen me travel to Croatia, Dubai, Madrid, Brussels and again Amsterdam for the 1st Edition of the Amsterdam Kizomba Festival.
Here are a few pictures from an afternoon exploring the city of Amsterdam with my friend and fellow creative, Safrana, who kindly took all the pictures of me.
