OXFAM ORIGINALS MANCHESTER PHOTOSHOOT
If you have every been to England and hit the high street, the chances are, that at some point you will have stumbled across an Oxfam store. Oxfam has been around since the 1940s with a focus on raising money for well known causes through donations and second-hand items sold through its shops both online and on the high street. Currently, it has over 700 stores across the United Kingdom alone and operates over 70 specialist Oxfam Bookshops, making them the largest retailer of second-hand books in the UK.
My collaboration with Oxfam Originals which is based in Manchesterβs Northern Quarter, came about thanks to Safrana who I often work with when photographing weddings. Safrana is currently managing the Oxfam Originals Instagram account (@oxfamoriginals) which includes providing regular content for their posts, so she brought us all together to arrange a shoot. The Oxfam Originals store is great because it specialises in unique vintage pieces with lots of designer brands. The clothes and accessories we wore are courtesy of Oxfam Originals. You can find Safrana on Instagram by searching @_safrana.
Gilly is a fellow creative and also works closely with Oxfam Originals. It was a pleasure photographing Gilly, he has such a relaxed, laid back aura which is always a nice vibe to be around. Gilly can be found on Instagram by searching @3foil.
