HAY GREEN HOTEL WEDDING: DARREN + NIK

Darren and Nik's were married on a beautiful August summer's day at Hay Green Hotel in Marsden, Huddersfield. The theme of the their wedding was Quality Street purple which I noticed was also the same colour as the wild flowers growing outside of the wedding venue.

The string quartet were playing for when guests arrived.

Once the wedding party had walked down the aisle, Darren and Nik made their entrance and walked down the aisle together for their wedding ceremony.

The ceremony was very brief, lasting around 15 minutes and consisted of one reading.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés and light-hearted banter.

Guests also signed a portrait from the couples engagement shoot by photographer, Paul Craig.

Following on from a few quick group shot, we headed into the woodland for a brief short portrait session with the newlyweds.

We also sneaked in a family portrait with the couple's children.

The wedding reception consisted of two amazing sets from a live band and lots of dancing.
