Ashfield House Wedding: Misha + Tobi

Misha and Tobi were a last minute Autumn booking. We met for the first time at their pre-wedding, engagement photoshoot which I have previously blogged about. Their wedding took place in a beautiful at Ashfield House which is a stunning Victorian country house in Wigan, North-West England. Here are a few pictures from their day..

Misha had two dress... this lacy number with the sequins was her evening dress…

STUNNING wedding rings!

Misha and her bridesmaids arranged for pancakes to be delivered to the bridal sitting room... a women after my own heart! I'm not good on an empty stomach - food first!

The groom and his grooms men got ready in a room just down the corridor from Misha and her bridesmaids...

How cute is this room? I love the plates on the wall almost as much as the bridesmaids matching robes.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this ceremony room... look how bright it is, and there are two sets of windows and a window in the ceiling... I love natural light!

As well as her bridesmaids, Misha's Mum was also on hand to help Misha get ready...

The ceremony was was perfect... with three readings, the first from one of Misha's bridesmaids.

I LOVE how light, bright and airy the wedding venue was, it suited my natural light photography style perfectly. The white walls acted as a natural reflector and meant that I could make use of the natural light with out resorting to using my flash.

Misha and Tobi had these cute pink vodka shot bottles for their guests complete with 24 carat gold flakes.

The first dance…

After Misha and Tobi's first dance... Misha changed into her second wedding dress and invited guests to come outside to watch the fireworks... They were amazing!

Back inside the house, evening reception wedding guests were treated to good old fashion fish and chips, there was also pie and chips with mushy peas and gravy - All displayed in these cute picnic baskets.

Meanwhile back on the dance floor... Misha, Tobi and Tobi's Mum were "sprayed" with money.. in tradition with Nigerian culture..
