Apollonia London Wedding: Natasha + Dean
I met Natasha at her cousin, Reon's wedding which I had the pleasure of photographing a few months earlier. Natasha was a bridesmaid. When she contacted me through my Facebook page we corresponded briefly by e-mail and then we chatted over the phone about her ideas for her wedding. I loved that Natasha was also a fellow creative and she explained to me in-depth about her inspirations for her wedding theme. Natasha mentioned 1930s glamour, the film, Water For Elephants and a peacock colour palette. I instantly knew that her wedding would be interesting to photograph as she had put a lot of thought into the details and theme. Natasha got ready with her bridesmaids at the Hilton Wembley Hotel. The room was great, there was lots of natural light flooding in..Natasha wore these fabulous shoes on her wedding day - she customised them herself with peacock feathers and diamantes on the heel to make them truly unique.Stunning engagement ring...Check out Natasha & Dean's cool wedding car!!The church where Natasha & Dean had there ceremony was beautiful...it had floor to ceiling windows along one side, letting in lots of lovely light. I love natural light!A very important delivery...Natasha and Dean had this really cool saxophonist, David Levy, who played at both the church and at the reception...but cool saxophone player aside, I LOVE the way the lighting refelects the peacock feather colour scheme... attention to detail - I like itI photographed the happy couple, a month after their wedding, in a "Just Married" photoshoot... you can check out the images here.
