TRAVELS: ROVINJ, CROATIA

I’ve been wanting to go to Croatia for the Summer Sensual Days Festival for the longest time. 2018 was finally the year that I was able to make it a reality. I’m one of those people who loves to be abroad somewhere for my birthday, so when I found out that the festival happened to fall on my birthday it seemed like a clear sign that I should be there.

The festival takes place in various locations in the historical town of Rovinj. We kick started the holiday by exploring Rovinj (pronounced Roveeeen). Here are a few pictures from the first day.

We stayed in an Airbnb which we booked a few weeks before our arrival. These pictures are from the entrance.

It’s always good to travel with people who are on a similar vibe. Safrana is a close friend who is always cool to travel with and we always have the best adventures. Safrana also works with me as a second photographer on my longer wedding shoots.

I fell in love the pretty colour palette that the buildings in the Old Town were painted in.

I look forward to exploring more of Croatia.
