I love travelling abroad and experiencing new things so when Sienna Brown contacted me through Instagram to attend Las Morenas de España's THRIVE Conference in Madrid, Spain, it was the perfect excuse to travel. The Conference was for traveller types and budding entrpreneurs who want to network and learn about living abroad, new business ideas and personal growth. So off I went with my friend, Safrana who also shares my passion for travel.One of the first talk was by amazing, Kay Fabella entitled "From Idea to Income: How to Start a Purposeful Business". Kay is a Brand Strategist who helps entrepreneurs to sell their story,Blogger, Nia of Fro Girl Ginny also did a great talk on the importance of self-love and representing. I can't believe she's only 19! She has such a wise head on our shoulders. She's the one stood up in the pic below with the big curls.The picture of me below comes courtesy of lovely Miss Anna Fuxx who was the official photographer for the Conference. Conferences are great because you get to meet lots of different people and it's always nice to meet fellow photographers. Anna is also a fellw Fuji Film camera lover like me and was bouncing between her Canon camera and Fuji on the day. She very kindly let me try out her brand new Fuji XT-2 which I have to say was pretty AhhhMAzzing :-) Thanks Anna! That may well be my next travel camera buy... currently I'm rocking my Fuji X100t which I have blogged about before.. click here and here.The Conference ended with a panel discussion on long term ex-pat life...The day after the Conference, we took a bit of time to get lost in the streets in Madrid and take pictures along the way (standard)...Thanks to Safrana for capturing me in the Spanish sun :-)Almudena Cathedral is STUNNING!
